👤 About me

I am a driven BSc Computing Science student at Radboud University, about to embark on the Software Science and Data Science tracks. I bring hands‑on experience in full‑stack web and embedded systems development, data‑driven modeling, and cybersecurity. At AeroCount, I designed and created a web dashboard for municipal air‑quality monitoring (most notably led the development of the dashboard for ultrafine particulate matter), programmed and upgraded embedded sensors in Embedded C, and automated calibration workflows in Python - most notably replacing manual calibration with a Multiple Linear Regression model to make the process of producing and dispatching PM, UFP, and NO₂ measurement instruments faster, more cost‑effective, and consistently accurate.

My technical toolkit spans Python (including scikit‑learn and Django), JavaScript/Node.js, Embedded C, R, Docker, AWS (Lambda, S3), SQL, REST APIs, microcontrollers, and Linux/Git. I’ve built and broken things through freelance GDPR‑compliant web builds and penetration tests, created weekly CTF challenges for 500+ participants, and organized generative‑AI hackathons at Rabobank. As a volunteer developer for my study and student association, I’ve architected AWS Lambda functions and kept member‑facing platforms running smoothly. As a member of the partner-committee at my study association, N.S.V. Thalia, I helped in gaining and keeping new partners and sponsors for the study association.

Long‑term, I’m committed to completing my BSc, pursuing a master’s degree, and continually growing as a software engineer, seeking roles where I can blend data science, secure system design, and web development to solve real‑world problems.

Outside of code, I enjoy puzzle‑solving, tinkering with IoT devices, hardware and my Linux server, exploring new data‑science techniques, and staying active in communities (such as study and student association, and a dispuut). I speak Dutch and English fluently (C2), German conversationally (B2), and Spanish at B1 level.

    2025 – Present , Nijmegen

    Played a key role in developing a secure web dashboard designed for both public users and municipal authorities, facilitating data-driven decision-making for air quality regulation. Supported the enhancement and programming of embedded air quality sensors using Embedded C. Led the automation of sensor calibration by implementing multiple linear regression in Python, replacing manual methods, and significantly increasing both efficiency and consistency.

    During the rising interest in generative AI within corporate environments Rabobank explored how to effectively educate employees on its utilization. I contributed by hosting fun and informative assignments for generative AI applications, assisting with task grading, and delivering a presentation on best practices for writing prompts.

    Designed a 19-page CTF challenge document, featuring tasks like website hacking and decryption. Released weekly to a community of 500+ programmers and hackers.
